Attorney Profile
Barbara J. Walker is a Registered Nurse who received her undergraduate degree in Nursing with Honors (Magnum Cum Lade) from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University in 1999 and her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2004. Prior to going to lawschool, Ms. Walker worked as a Registered Nurse and gained invaluable experience that aids her in the litigation of medical malpractice cases. She still maintains her RN licensure. While attending law school, Ms. Walker was a member of the University of Florida College of Law Trial Team, and was a Certified Legal Intern with the Alachua County Public Defender’s Office. Ms. Walker had her first exposure to litigation as a law student where she had the opportunity to sit second chair in her first trial and obtained a favorable verdict.
As a member of Parks & Crump, LLC, Ms. Walker’s areas of practice include medical malpractice, nursing home litigation, wrongful death, and general litigation.
She is a member of the Tallahassee Women Lawyers, National Bar Association, American Bar Association, Tallahassee Barristers Association, and the American Association for Justice.
